After much press speculation as to just who would be heading to the outback, the final ten celebrities have completed the hardcore trek and are preparing to take on gruesome challenges over the coming weeks, which could include eating kangaroo’s testicles and fish eyes, or being crammed into a pitch black box filled with rats. As always, the competing celebs will be kitted out in the standard bush uniform of comfy khakis and sturdy walking boots.

The ten celebrities who will be screaming ‘Get me out of here!’ on our TV screens from this weekend are: rapper Aggro Santos, actress Britt Ekland, dietician Gillian McKeith, Playboy playmate Kayla Collins, controversial MP Lembit Opik, athlete Linford Christie, actor Nigel Havers, former Happy Mondays singer Shaun Ryder, ex-wag Sheryl Gascoigne and 2009 X Factor star Stacey Solomon.
